charter busing

The Agudah has arranged with RW Transport to provide charter busing for the Siyum by advance registration only from many areas in New York and New Jersey.

To book seats on a bus from many areas in the New York/New Jersey area or to charter a bus from any place,
go to siyumbus.com or call 929-241-2888. If you are arranging your own charter bus, please obtain a required bus parking permit by calling 929-241-2888.

RW Transport is an independent company; please call them directly regarding bus transportation. The bus transportation fee is charged in full by RW Transport, and the Agudah does not receive any revenue from your bus ticket.

public transportation

Public transportation options are keeping to their regular New Year holiday schedules (except as noted below for NJ TRANSIT and Coach USA).

Please make sure that you allow enough time to make it on time to the bus or railway you would like to travel on.
NJ TRANSIT RAIL SERVICE
NJ TRANSIT operates a direct line to MetLife Stadium from the Secaucus Junction. You may take any NJ TRANSIT train to Secaucus, and transfer there to the special MetLife line. The dedicated MetLife line will begin running at 10:30 am. For more information go to NJtransit.com or call 973-275-5555.
metro-north
Participants from New York and Connecticut can take select Metro-North trains from the New Haven Line to Grand Central Station where they can transfer by subway to Penn Station. From Penn Station they can take the train to the Secaucus Junction, from which there is a direct train to MetLife Stadium. For more information go to www.mta.info/mnr or call 212-532-4900.
COACH USA BUS SERVICE
(Route Number 351)
Coach USA has a direct bus route from the Port Authority Bus Terminal to MetLife Stadium. The bus routes will begin from 10:30 am on the day of the SIyum. For more information go to: 351express.com or call 800-877-1888, extension 3.
parking

Upon your arrival at the stadium you will be directed to a designated lot by parking attendants.
There is a parking fee of $40 per car and $160 per bus.
Payment for General Admission parking must be made with cash or credit card at the stadium itself.
Parking fees are assessed by the stadium, the Agudah does not benefit from these fees.

Please note that all vehicles are subject to search by New Jersey State police and canine units.

Write down or take a photo of the parking lot letter and number so you can easily find your car when the Siyum is finished.
entry instructions

Please enter at the gate indicated on your ticket. Separate entrances have been designated for men’s and women’s sections, and we respectfully request that you use the correct designated gate.
When you enter the stadium, you’ll receive a bag containing the HaSiyum magazines and a warming package – hand, foot, and body warmers.
There will be complimentary coffee and other hot drinks available throughout the stadium (while supplies last).
Security
To ensure the safety of all participants at the Siyum HaShas, Homeland Security and the New Jersey state police have created a set of stringent security protocols and procedures for January 1st. For your protection and for the protection of all those involved please adhere to all the security guidelines that are listed.
METLIFE STADIUM HAS A STRICT CARRY-IN AND “CLEAR BAG” POLICY.
allowed:
  • Clear bags that are 12” x 6” x 12” or less size (1 per person)
  • Small purses or handbags that are 4.5”x6.5” or less in size (1 per person)
  • Binoculars, your still camera (without its case) as long as its lens is 6” or less, or a cellphone.
  • Food for personal use that is contained in a clear plastic zip-lock bag.
  • Hand-carried jackets, or blankets, which can be patted down or searched.
  • Factory sealed plastic bottles of water (or soft drinks) that are 20 oz. or less in size.
PROHIBITED ITEMS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
  • Any type of non-clear bag larger than 4.5” X 6.5”
  • Purses/handbags larger than indicated above
  • Dedicated video cameras or cameras with lenses longer than 6”
  • Camera cases, binocular cases, or fanny packs
  • Diaper bags, computer bags, backpacks, or briefcases
  • Umbrellas, strollers, selfie sticks or laser pointers
  • Seat cushions except for ones that are medically necessary
  • Glass bottles, cans (including soda cans), or thermoses
Every person will be scanned with a metal detector and is subject to being patted down. There will be canine units around the stadium.
All personal belongings will be checked.
If you bring any prohibited items, security will require you to either return them to your car or check them in a storage trailer, for a fee.
This will delay your entry to the Siyum. So please leave whatever you don’t need with you in the stadium at home or in your car, so that you can get through security quickly.
important notes:
  • Upon entrance into the stadium your ticket will be scanned, after which it will no longer be able to be used for entry. So once you leave the stadium you will not be able to return, even if you still have your ticket.
  • Please note that in the stadium itself, you will be able to go to the area marked on your ticket, but will not be able to go to a different section of the stadium.
  • Homeland Security has designated the airspace around the stadium as a “no-fly zone” for a period before and through the conclusion of the Siyum.
    Use of drones at any time in or around MetLife Stadium is strictly prohibited and subject to possible arrest and criminal prosecution.
  • If you are staying at a nearby hotel, please do NOT walk to the stadium. New Jersey State Police will be enforcing the no pedestrian rules on the roads near and around the stadium.
  • An extensive emergency preparedness team will be in place at the Siyum, and the New Jersey State Police will have a medevac helicopter on location, should this, chas v’shalom, be required.
children:
  • Children up to 34” inches in height may enter MetLife Stadium without their own ticket, but must share a seat with an accompanying ticketed adult.
  • Strollers and diaper bags are not allowed into the stadium. Please see the Carry-In Policy for more information.
  • Before you bring your young child, ask yourself: Is this the place for my young child? There will be large crowds, several speeches during which they will need to be quiet, and we also want to make sure that they stay at a comfortable temperature throughout the Siyum.
    For any children attending, please do the following just in case chas v’shalom they wander off and we need to help you find them:
  • Bring a recent picture of your child(ren) with you to the stadium. (On your cell phone is fine.)
  • Place a paper in your child’s pocket (tell him or her about it), which includes his or her name, and your cell phone number and contact information.
